Magic Coat

Reflects back the first Status move used on the user this turn.

Magic Coat reflects Status moves back to the attacker for the duration of the turn that Magic Coat is used.
Magic Coat has highly increased priority meaning that it will move before the vast majority of other moves.
If a Status affects the whole side of the user, no Pokémon on the user's side will be affected.
If multiple Pokémon on the user's side have Magic Coat active, only one will reflect the incoming Status move.
Soundproof takes place after the reflection effect of Magic Coat.
Magic Coat will fail if it does not go first (due to nother move of the same priority being used and the Pokémon using it has a higher Speed than the user of Magic Coat.)

• In Gen 3 Soundproof takes place before Magic Coat.
• In Gen 3-4 Magic Coat can only reflect one move before the effect disappears.
• From Gen 9 onwards this move can not be selected in battle.
