Stealth Rock

Lays a trap and causes damage when enemy Pokémon switch in.

Stealth Rock lays a trap around the target which damages Pokémon that switch in.
Trap effects can be removed by moves such as Rapid Spin.
The table below whos the specific amount of damage based on the type weakness to Rock of the incoming Pokémon:

Using Stone Axe or G-Max Stonesurge will set up Stealth Rock around the target. Defog will remove Stealth Rock from both sides.

• In Gen 4 Stealth Rock is not affected by Magic Coat.
• In Gen 4-5 Defog only removes the Stealth Rock around the target.
• In Legends: Arceus Stealth Rock is categorized as Physical and deals damage with 40 power, then leaving the target with splinters for 4 turns (strong style), 2 turns (agile style) or 3 turns (otherwise).
