Detailed Effect

Spotlight causes the target to become the center of attention.
This redirects all attacks toward it and overrides any other move redirecting effect such as Follow Me.

From Gen 8 onwards this move can not be selected in battle.

Description

SWSH	This move can’t be used. It’s recommended that this move is forgotten. Once forgotten, this move can’t be remembered.
