Detailed Effect

Odor Sleuth causes all moves against the target to ignore accuracy

and evasion

positive stat modifiers and allows the target to be hit by

Normal and

Fighting -type moves if it is a

Ghost .
Odor Sleuth lasts until the target leaves battle.

In Gen 3 Odor Sleuth also ignores negative accuracy and evasion stat modifiers.
In Gen 3-4 Odor Sleuth is not affected by Magic Coat.
From Gen 8 onwards this move can not be selected in battle.

Description

RS E	Negates the foe’s efforts to heighten evasiveness.
FRLG	Completely negates the foe’s efforts to heighten its ability to evade.
DP HGSS PL	Enables the user to hit a Ghost type with any type of move. It also enables the user to hit an evasive foe.
COL B2W2	Enables a Ghost-type target to be hit with Normal- and Fighting-type attacks. It also enables an evasive target to be hit.
XY ORAS SM USUM LGPLGE	Enables a Ghost-type target to be hit by Normal- and Fighting-type attacks. This also enables an evasive target to be hit.
SWSH	This move can’t be used. It’s recommended that this move is forgotten. Once forgotten, this move can’t be remembered.
