Parting Shot is a sound-based move so it can hit targets behind a Substitute and is ignored by targets with the ability Soundproof.
If Parting Shot hits a target protected by Magic Bounce it will be reversed, lowering the user's stats and switching out the target.
Pursuit will deal double damage if the target using it has a higher Speed
than the user or normal damage if it is slower.
If Parting Shot will not switch the user out if it's the only available Pokémon in the user's party or if it triggers the target's Wimp Out or Emergency Exit.
Parting Shot does not switch out the user if the stats if the target Pokémon are not lowered as well (except when the target has the ability Mirror Armor).
