Effect Summary

Lowers the PP of the target's last used move by 4.

Spite decreases the PP of the target's last used move by 4.
If that move has no PP remaining, Spite fails.

In Gen 2 Spite always fails if the last used move was Metronome as Metronome can not call moves that the user already knows in this generation.
In Gen 2-3 Spite decreases the the last used move's PP by 2 to 5 (randomly selected) and fails if the target's last used move has exactly 1 PP remaining.
In Gen 3-4 Spite can not be reflected with Magic Coat.
