Toxic Spikes can be used multiple times in a row to layer the trap. Two or more layers cause the incoming Pokémon to become badly poisened
Raised Pokémon,

Steel
-type Pokémon are immune to this effect.
A Pokémon is raised if it meets one of the following conditions:
A Pokémon holding Heavy-Duty Boots
is immune to this move and will remove the Toxic Spikes even if it's already
Poison
-type
Magic Guard will not prevent a Pokémon from being poisened but will prevent the poison damage.
A Pokémon with the ability Comatose will not be poisened by Toxic Spikes.
Toxic Spikes does not interact with the ability Synchronize at all.
