Me First
Effect Summary
Detailed Effect
Me First only works if the target has not used a move yet in the turn that Me First is used.
Me First bypasses all accuracy
Me First can only copy damage-dealing moves.
If the target of Me First is not im combat or has already fainted by the time the move is used, it will be redirected to an adjacent non-fainted enemy.
If Me First copies a move that lasts for more than one turn such as Rollout, it will fail after the first turn. If the user is holding a choice item such as a Choice Band
If the user is holding an Assault Vest
The following list of moves can not be copied by Me First:
- Any Z-Move
- Any move that has a higher priority than Me First as it will fail before it can copy it
- Beak Blast
- Belch
- Chatter
- Counter
- Covet
- Focus Punch
- Metal Burst
- Mirror Coat
- Shell Trap
- Struggle
- Thief
- In Gen 4-6 Me First will fully execute moves that last more than one turn.
- In Gen 5 a choice item does not lock the user into using Me First
- From Gen 8 onwards this move can not be selected in battle.

The user tries to cut ahead of the foe to steal and use the foe’s intended move with greater power.

This move can’t be used. It’s recommended that this move is forgotten. Once forgotten, this move can’t be remembered.
