Counter

Deals twice the damage the user received from the last Physical hit it took.

When hit by a Physical Attack, the user strikes back with 2x power.
This move can not be copied by Mirror Move.
If the Pokémon using Counter is hit by a physical attack that deals 0 damage (for example, False Swipe when the use already has 1 HP ), Counter becomes a physical move with 1 base power.

• In Gen 1 this only worked when attacked by a Normal -type or Fighting -type move. Otherwise it misses
  It has a priority of -1.
• In Gen 2 One Hit K-O moves Fissure and Horn Drill (but not Guillotine) can be countered if they miss.
  Counter can also counter Beat Up despite being Dark -type
• In Gen 1-3 this move can be copied by Mirror Move
• In Gen 2-4 this move can counter Hidden Power regardless of type
• In Gen 1-4 this move was unaffected by King's Rock
• This move is unaffected by critical strike modifiers.
• If both user and target use Counter in the same turn, both fail.
• This also works for recoil damage.
