Detailed Effect
Thousand Arrows deals damage and can hit 'raised' Pokémon despite being
Ground
-type.
By default all Pokémon are grounded. A Pokémon can become 'raised' if:
- it is
Flying -type.
- it has the ability Levitate.
- it is holding an
Air Balloon
- it is affected by Magnet Rise or Telekinesis.
- it is in the semi-invulnerable turn of Sky Drop, Fly or Bounce.
- In early versions of this move is not selectable in battle (fixed in version 1.3.0).
- In and from Gen 9 onwards this move is not selectable in battle.
