In Gen 1 Reflect doubled the user's Defense when the target uses a Physical move.
The effect can be cleared by Haze
In Gen 2 Reflect doubled the Defense stat of all Pokémon on the user's side when the target uses a Physical direct-damage dealing move.
It also reduces the self-inflicted damage of confusion
In Gen 3 this effect is reduced to 33% if multiple Pokémon are on the user's side.
In Gen 1-4 Reflect is removed by Brick Break (even if type-immune due to being Ghost-type) or Shadow Shed.
In Gen 5 the damage reduction multiplier is 2703/4096 (65,99% of the original damage or a 34,01% damage reduction).
