Detailed Effect

Brick Break deals damage and removes the effects of Light Screen, Reflect and Aurora Veil before attacking.
Brick Break will not have any effect if the target is protected by protection effects such as Protect.

In Gen 3-4 Brick Break removes the effects of Light Screen and Reflect even if the target is immune to the move (due to being Ghost -type.
