Light Screen

Reduces damage from Special category moves by 33% for 5 turns.

Light Screen reduces damage from Special attacks for all Pokémon on the user's side by roughly 33% for 5 turns.
If the user is holding a Light Clay the effect is extended to 8 turns.
Light Screen will be removed if its side is hit by:

• Brick Break
• Defog
• Psychic Fangs
• Raging Bull
• A Pokémon with the ability Screen Cleaner enters battle.

The ability Inflitrator bypasses Light Screen.

• In Gen 1 Light Screen doubled the user's Special stat when the target uses a Special move.
  The effect can be cleared by Haze
• In Gen 2 Light Screen doubled the Special Defense stat of all Pokémon on the user's side when the target uses a Special direct-damage dealing move.
• In Gen 3 this effect is reduced to 33% if multiple Pokémon are on the user's side.
• In Gen 1-4 Light Screen is removed by Brick Break (even if type-immune due to being Ghost -type) or Shadow Shed.
• In Gen 5 the damage reduction multiplier is 2703/4096 (65,99% of the original damage or a 34,01% damage reduction).
• From Gen 6 onwards the damage reduction multiplier is 2732/4096 (66,7% of the original damage or a 33,3% damage reduction).

Light Screen is the Special counterpart to Reflect.
