Changes the target's move's type to
Electric
if it hasn't moved yet this turn.
Detailed Effect
Electrify changes the target's move to
Electric
-type if it has not moved yet for the duration of that turn.
This also works against Status
category moves.
Electrify bypasses accuracy
and
evasion
checks to always hit except when the target is in the semi-invulnerable turn of moves such as Dig or Fly.
Moves that have a charging turn will only be affected if Electrify is used on the damage dealing turn.
The move Flying Press will deal
Electric
and
Flying
-type damage.
The move Freeze-Dry does not double its effect against
Water
-type Pokémon meaning that it is capped at a 2x super effective multiplier.
All damage dealing Max Moves are changed to Max Lightning.
This also works against Status
