Volt Switch

Deals damage and the user must switch out after attacking.

Volt Switch deals damage forces the user to switch out.
Volt Switch does not force the user to switch out if:

• the user is the only available Pokémon left in the player's party.
• it would end the battle.
• it misses or is the target is type-immune to Volt Switch.
• it would trigger the target's Wimp Out or Emergency Exit.
• the user is holding a Red Card
• the target is holding an Eject Button

When the target uses Pursuit in the same turn, it will only have double power if the target is slower (lower Speed ) than the user.
Volt Switch can be used to cancel the effect of Ingrain.
Volt Switch allows the user to switch out even when affected by:

• Arena Trap
• Magnet Pull
• Shadow Tag
• Mean Look
• Spider Web
• Block
