Detailed Effect

Psycho Shift transfers any major status condition the user has to the target.
Psycho Shift fails if immune to that status condition (by being type-immune, through an ability, with Safeguard or by already having that status condition).
Psycho Shift will not transfer any temporary status condition such as confusion

In Gen 4 Psycho Shift first cures the user and then afflicts the target with the status condition, meaning that a target with Synchronize will transfer the status condition back to the user.
In Gen 4-5 Psycho Shift has 90% accuracy
From Gen 9 onwards this move can not be selected in battle.
