Effect Summary
Deals damage and the user must switch out after attacking.
Detailed Effect
U-Turn deals damage and immediately switches the user out.
U-Turn will not switch the user out if it's the only available Pokémon in the user's party or if it triggers the target's Wimp Out or Emergency Exit.
Pursuit will deal double damage if the target using it has a higher Speed
than the user or normal damage if it is slower.
U-Turn can be used to negate the effects of Ingrain.
U-Turn can be used to switch out even if the user is trapped by effects such as Arena Trap. U-Turn will not force the user to switch out if it is holding a Red Card
or if the target is holding an
Eject Button
.
