Detailed Effect

Pollen Puff has two possible effects depending on the target.
If Pollen Puff targets an ally, it restores up to 50% of the ally's maximum HP

If Pollen Puff targets an enemy, it deals damage.
If either the user or the target ally is affected by Heal Block it can not select an ally as the target.
Pokémon with the ability Bulletproof are immune to this move as it is projectile based.

In Brilliant DiamondShining Pearl this move can not be selected in battle.

The user attacks the enemy with a pollen puff that explodes. If the target is an ally, it gives the ally a pollen puff that restores its HP instead.
