The user of Bide 'stores energy' for 2 turns making it unable to move.
At the end of the second turn the Pokémon unleashes energy, dealing double the HP damage it received during the last two turns.
If the user does not receive any damage during the idling turns, the move fails
It also ignores changes to the Accuracy and Evasion stats and can hit Pokémon in the invulnerable stage of moves such as Dig and Fly.
In double and triple battles, Bide hits the last Pokémon to attack the user (including teammates).

• In Gen 1 Bide bypasses accuracy checks to always hit.
  It can also hit Pokémon in the semi-invulnerable stages of moves such as Dig and Fly
• In Gen 1 and 4 it can hit Ghost-type Pokémon.
• In Gen 2-3, Bide has 100% accuracy.
• In Gen 3 damage received by Pain Split counts towards the total damage Bide will deal.
• In Gen 1-3 Bide has a priority of 0. and stores energy for 2-3 turns (chosen randomly).
