rises by one stage.
Detailed Effect
Rage deals damage, and if the user is hit by a direct attack - any time after Rage is first used but before a different move is used - the user's Attack is raised by one stage.
Stats
can be raised to a maximum of +6 stages each.
As long as Rage is the last used move, even if it misses.
Rage can only be paused by major status ailments but not interrupted.
Each individual hit of multi-strike attacks like Fury Swipes or Double Slap count for the Attack
increase.

- In Gen 1 Rage is a continuous attack and there is no way to stop it until the battle ends or the user faints.
There is also a bug causing 100% accuracymoves to only hit 99.6% of the time.
If Rage misses due to this bug while no other accuracy or evasionmodifiers are in place, the accuracy
of Rage will become 0.4%
- In Gen 2-3 the
Attack
increase only applies if Rage was selected that turn if the user is slower than the target.
- From Gen 8 onwards this move can not be selected in battle.
