First Impression deals damage and has increased priority meaning that it will be used before most other moves.
If another Pokémon uses a move of the same priority, the Pokémon with the higher Speed

will go first as usual.
First Impression fails if it is not used on the first turn the user entered battle or when it is called by Instruct.

In Brilliant DiamondShining Pearl this move can not be selected in battle.
