Bestow

Gives the user's held item to the target.

Bestow gives the user's currently held item to the target.
Bestow bypasses accuracy and evasion checks to always hit except when the target is in the semi-invulnerable turn of moves such as Dig or Fly.
The ability Sticky Hold prevents items from being moved.
The following items are always unable to be moved:

• Griseous Orb from a Giratina
• Any Type Plate held by Arceus
• Any Drive held by Genesect
• Any Mega Stone held by a Pokémon that can use it to Mega-Evolve
• Any mail item such as Grass Mail
• Any e-Reader berry such as Pumkin Berry
• Any Z-Crystal such as Buginium Z
• Any memory item such as Bug Memory held by Silvally
• Rusted Sword if either the user or the target is Zacian
• Rusted Shield if either the user or the target is Zamazenta
• Booster Energy if the target is a Paradox Pokémon (excluding Koraidon and Miraidon ).
• Wellspring Mask , Hearthflame Mask or Cornerstone Mask if either the user or the target is Ogerpon

Bestow hits the target even if it protected by Protect, Detect or Spiky Shield but fails when the target is protected by Crafty Shield.
In wild Pokémon battles, the item is permantently lost if the wild Pokémon faints.
In trainer battles, the item is recovered after battle.

• In Gen 5 Bestow is also prevented by Protect and Detect.
• From Gen 8 onwards this move can not be selected in battle.
