The user and the targeted perform a short animation holding hands.
Hold Hands fails in Single Battle and Horde Encounters.
In a Battle Royal, the user can select any other Pokémon as the target.
Hold Hands ignores all protection effects except Crafty Shield and can not hit Pokémon in the semi-invulnerable turn of moves such as Fly or Dig.
